Participation to the New explorer Challenge

We participated in the “New Explorer Challenge,” competition focused on innovation within the tourism sector. This challenge specifically called upon participants to devise and develop a completely new and sustainable travel product or itinerary.

Sustainable Travel Creation Contest

The core objective of the contest was the creation and refinement of a viable, sustainable travel package that could immediately be marketed and distributed. The ultimate aim was to ensure that the final product was attractive and executable by a variety of different tour operators and travel agencies keen on expanding their eco-conscious offerings.

The Destination Chosen: The Faroe Islands

The specific destination selected for our entry was the Faroe Islands. This choice was made due to the archipelago’s unique natural beauty, delicate ecosystem, and the growing demand for remote, authentic, and environmentally responsible travel experiences. Our proposed itinerary was carefully designed to promote low-impact tourism while highlighting the distinct culture and dramatic landscapes of the Faroes.
